Poll Pot Pourri

The votes are cast and so the exit polls are out. Seems like Amma's AIADMK +MDMK alliance is gonna take beating, black and blue.Times Now-Hansa Exit Poll has projected just about 81 of the 234 Assembly seats for the ruling alliance, while DMK+PMK+INC+Commies alliance is expected to get 150. BJP is once again conspicuous by a total no show. Also looks like captain Vijakanth might have to return to his career on the celluloid!

While exit polls have never been exact, one cannot deny the true "Dravidian" electoral voting tradition-"decisive" and "anti incumbency".

As far as TN is concerned, Dynasty politics shall soon take over the driver's seat, with able guidance from Centre!

Also heard that "Budhha is smiling" in Kolkata.

Exit polls are not exact poll results counted. Having said that, I find that considering the mighty alliance of Ayya+,TN could reflect last parliament poll where Ayya+ won all . If the present opionion gives Amma 81 against Ayya+ 150, it shows how Amma won people`s heart after the last(lost) pool( where her count was 0)

At any rate, let us wait for 11th fore-noon for actual figures. Amma is likely to have atleast 100. Present Amma is much more refined, getting matured besides being best and bold administrator.

It will be 210 to 215 for TN....

Do you remember the 2004 exit poll. Even then did not predict the 40/40

Only the final result told 40/40

If the present opionion gives Amma 81 against Ayya+ 150, it shows that there is a sampling error.....

Dr Bruno: 1stly welcometo my world. Secondly I hope "sampling eror" is true! cos my cousin might get a computer!:)

Gandy: "best and bold administrator"

Hi... I thought that it was obvious and did not specifically mention the direction of sampling error...

The final result will be 210 - 215 seats for DMK...

Your cousin may not get computer, but may get the following

1. Colour TV
2. Gas Stove

And the fees of Govt Colleges which was Raised from 2000 per year in 2001 to upto 60000 (SIXTY THOUSAND per year for select courses) will come down and that will be a good news if she is a student.

By the way, have you ever seen a CM threatening striking girl students that they will be booked under prostitution case if they continue the strike. May be a BOLD administrator will do, but not every one.....

PC for everyone who has passed 12th seems ludicrous. It would be more fitting if Economic backgrounds of students are taken into consideration. (or) Students from Govt schools get a PC. The ability to afford a private school itself is a direct indication that the family can afford (atleast a low cost) PC.

Exit poll says Exit JJ!! I love that lady, her gut& grit..Would not mind to watching her sit in the opposition benches for a while! Politics apart, She is an inspiration to every woman, specially in Mumbai where women don't easily take up politics (not even in college)

Gollum: Tell me what u want and I'll promise u that in the next election( Thats if im fired from my current job)

Here are some choices:
Mobile phone ( only for below std 10 students)
Ipod ( age no bar)
LCD Tv (only for farmers)
3 wheeler( for those who dont have 4 wheelers)

Financing will be 0% interest loans, so no burden on ur or my wallet.I think both DMK & ADMK will ally with me. My party symbol is what Im already using in my blogs.. " Three stooges"...u can call it..

It is heartwarming to note dillettante-s talking about politics (like Sonia-G talking about development economics)!!

Center-State Relations, Public Debt, State share of taxes, nationalisation of river resources.. etc are just some of the issues that should be considered over and above the individual charisma.. etc.

Alas !!

SAT analogy:

"like Sonia-G talking about development economics"

is same as?

"like Manno Singh talking about common mimnimum programme"
